King Jeff and Gorio star in the found-footage horror feature Shallow Creek Cult

Nationwide (BlackNews.com) -- Multi-award winning Marrero, Louisiana based African American motion picture producer/director King Jeff has achieved something that no other black filmmaker has... He has delved into the world of the 'found footage' horror genre, thus officially creating the first released African American written, produced, directed and acted found footage horror feature length movie.

His recent feature length horror film, Shallow Creek Cult, is available to watch on Amazon Instant Video, YouTube rental and is available for purchase on DVD on Amazon.com. It is scheduled for future releases on iTunes as well as cable and VOD outlets.

King Jeff's production company, JeTi FILMS, LLC, signed a deal with Los Angeles-based Distribber, which is an IndieGogo company that allows filmmakers to keep 100% of revenues, keep all their rights, and track sales across stores. Co-produced by Jeff's brother Gorio, who also co-stars, the critically acclaimed, $7,000 budgeted independent film is about two brothers, King Jeff and Gorio, who while on a road trip to spread their grandfather's ashes in the small town of Shallow Creek, Louisiana, are chased by a cannibalistic cult.

"Horror films, along with science fiction and fantasies, are among the top grossing films of all time. Their audiences are already established, so all we have to do is get the film out there and market it," says King Jeff. "Black, White, Asian, young or old, it doesn't matter. Everybody loves a good horror flick, and our film has both old and new ingredients that are sure to satisfy."

Shallow Creek Cult is being promoted extensively through Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and various other sources.
