People who relate to the various emotions and thoughts surrounding love will appreciate the openness of these characters as they expose their true to life perspectives of this universal theme.

Many have described "the Black Man-O-logues" as controversial, edgy, and raw with its reference to the "N" word, male-spousal abuse, infidelity and more. Writer and Director Jacquay Waller states: "The more controversial, the better. I’m only interested in writing material that will help promote progressive dialogue and engage audiences from a state of apathy to a state of involvement for the betterment of our society.:

It is best described as a rare platform that allows the world to witnesses the absolute sincerity of those considered to be the best and worst of our society.
